EXTENDED CLUB GROUP PROVISION

Our Club Group sessions are aimed at offering young swimmers the flexibility to do as much or as little swimming as is appropriate in their daily lives and, at the same time, keeping active in a sport that is widely regarded as a great sport for developing functional strength and fitness. Many swimmers excel out of the pool in other sports and academically due to their swimming backgrounds.

The swimming sessions are at a more leisurely pace, aimed at providing swimmers the opportunity to develop at their own speed to the level they want. Swimmers have the option to move into our competitive training groups when they reach the pre requisite levels.

Sessions are aimed at developing swimming skills and maintaining fitness. These are great sessions for complementing participation in other sports.

Competitive opportunities are available through the club’s own GRAND PRIX series and Club Championships as well as the various time trials that are being offered throughout the year.

These sessions also provide a discounted access to our water polo and synchronised swimming groups. Swimmers are encouraged to try out these other aquatic disciplines.

The pricing structure is £17 for your first session per month. This includes your TDS and ASA membership fee along with your Somerset and South West Swimming Association affiliation fees.

Each session is 45-60 minutes in length and is staffed by a qualified coach to support and guide your participation.

Additional sessions will be £11 per month each (discounted to £9 per month for Water Polo and Synchro sessions).
